We've researched current standards for business English and consulted business professionals living in the United States in order to make sure that you are learning language that's relevant in a variety of professional contexts.

    You will continue to learn language that you can use on business calls. This month, you’ll learn how to provide information over the phone, respond to client requests, and talk about calls that you’ve received.

    Business Emails

    You will learn basic strategies for composing business emails. You’ll explore the difference between formal and casual forms of addressing people and practice writing subject lines. You will also learn how to compose compound sentences that can help you communicate effectively.

    You will learn language that you can use to create business presentations. Your teachers will help you develop strategies for presenting content at meetings and conferences.
